With no prior experience in carbon reporting, the Climate Essentials platform has made learning how to collect, structure, and analyse their emissions data simple and straightforward. Smiley Monroe has been able to accurately track their Scope 1 and 2 emissions, achieve zero waste to landfill, and visualise year-on-year improvements. Support from the Climate Essentials team helped demystify unfamiliar terminology and refine internal processes, making the company more confident and proactive in its sustainability efforts.

Using insights gained through the platform, Smiley Monroe has been able to engage customers more effectively; visiting sites, identifying shared challenges, and even making practical packaging changes to support customer recycling capabilities. As global clients increasingly request carbon data and alignment with frameworks such as SBTi, the company’s early adoption of the Climate Essentials software has proved strategic. Having clear, validated emissions data at their fingertips has strengthened customer relationships, supported SBTi application, and boosted competitiveness in tender processes.
