They joined Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council’s programme with Climate Essentials to add structure and guidance to their sustainability plans.

Climate Essentials has provided Clarke & Son with the tools and framework to understand their current carbon footprint, and put in place an actionable plan to reduce this.

Through Climate Essentials’ detailed analytics platform, the team at Clarke & Son identified that travel-related emissions contributed to almost 30 percent of the company’s carbon footprint.

In addition to this, Climate Essentials and Clarke & Son’s team identified that 48.2 percent of Clarke & Son’s carbon emissions came from energy usage. This is a major area of opportunity for both cost-saving and emissions reduction.
