CBRE NI provides a full range of real estate services, including estate management, valuations, lettings, sales, and property management with a strong focus on sustainability. With their parent company aiming to achieve net zero emissions by 2040, sustainability is embedded in every level of the organisation’s culture and advice to clients.

CBRE NI started using Climate Essentials in order to meet their goals of measuring and reducing carbon emissions. They were impressed by how easy it was to use and how quickly it turned their data into clear carbon measurements.

Since adopting Climate Essentials, CBRE NI has used it to set a carbon baseline, monitor progress, and plan future emission reductions. With this information, CBRE NI is creating a clear five- to ten-year plan for cutting carbon, while encouraging staff to take part through small changes like cycling to work and making events more sustainable. They are now finalising a long-term carbon reduction strategy while promoting sustainable practices among building managers and clients. By using Climate Essentials, CBRE NI has been able to meet client expectations in terms of sustainability efforts and environmental standards, and lead by example.
