Once we receive your complete data and supporting evidence, the average turnaround to a finalised, verified report is five working days. The overall timeline depends on how quickly you can gather and share your data. We provide a clear checklist so you know exactly what is needed, and our team is available to guide you through the process.
Typically this includes energy bills (electricity, gas), fleet mileage or fuel records, business travel receipts, employee commuting data, waste disposal records, and profit and loss statements for spend-based emission calculations. You do not need to calculate anything or understand emission factors — we handle all of the methodology and provide a tailored checklist specific to your organisation.
Yes. Full platform access is included. Once we complete your carbon footprint, your data is populated into the Climate Essentials platform with dashboards, benchmarks and hotspot analysis. You can log in at any time to view your data, generate reports and track progress year on year. The managed service removes the work of data entry and calculation, not the visibility of your results.
Verification is included. Every managed service engagement produces a verified carbon footprint report and a Footprint Verified badge. Your data undergoes the same line-by-line review process as our standalone verification service, following GHG Protocol methodology and using official UK Government emission factors.
Yes. We prepare your verified report and Carbon Reduction Plan to align with the framework your stakeholders require. This includes PPN 006, GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, SECR and the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards. Let us know your reporting requirements at the start of the engagement and we will format the outputs accordingly.
You can continue with the managed service for subsequent reporting years, or transition to self-service if you have built the internal capability and confidence to manage the process independently. Many organisations start with the managed service to establish a robust baseline and then move to self-service once they are comfortable with the methodology. Your platform access and data carry over either way.
